We have a few rules regarding bedtime in our family. Once we say our prayers together, "The time for words is over." It's time to go to sleep. You know how things go ... it's not always easy to fall asleep. All the unsure, troublesome thoughts creep in after the lights go out. Because God is the only source of peace and safety, once the lights are out, you may only read the bible. Last night, Princess was scared while remembering a book she read the day before. This is how I found her this morning .... Sound asleep with her bible open beside her. Sweet peace, indeed.John 14:27 "Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid."
